Larry Rolfes has worked at Aglamesis Brothers ice cream parlor for over 20 years.  He's been there so long, the owner of the store, Mr. Aglamesis, had trouble remembering how he got started there.

"I think I contacted Hamilton County about hiring an individual to work here," said Mr. Aglamesis. "I'm glad we have him. Larry is very friendly and has fun."

Larry starts early in the morning and mops, unloads boxes, cleans, sweeps the sidewalk and gets shipments from the basement, among other duties.

Though he used to work there five days a week, now that he's getting older, he works two.

"I like my job. Mr. Aglamesis is a good boss. He helps me and talks to me if I have a problem," said Larry.

Outside of work, Larry has a girlfriend, Cheryl, who he's been dating seven years. They live in the same apartment complex in Oakley.

A big Elvis fan, Larry's favorite vacations have been to Graceland and Nashville. He also participates in Special Olympics softball, basketball and bowling.
